According to "Long-term railway network planning",by2012, Chinese government has approved new railways about more than40,000km, with total investment reaches four-trillion-yuan. The total investment for the railways construction is up to five-trillion-yuan. the total mileage of railways will surpass120,000km by2020. The rapid development of high speed rail and the continuous construction of the railway line will influence road transporttation to a great extent. Traffic situation will be changed.F company is a road passenger transportation enterprise of national level-one which is engaged in road passenger and freight transportation.It has been the No.1in the Southwest road transportation market in China with scale advantages. Face to the development of high speed rail, F company admitted that it will impact on the strategies,meanwhile, believe in opportunities and challenges coexist.In the thesis, the author will consider the practical situation of F company to make systematic analysis and explaination. On the basis of the management and operation problem to make out new development strtegies.
