The high-speed rail is a new era products in the 21st century,it's not only changed the pattern of transportation,but also to promote regional economic integration.The high-speed railway also impact the economic development of areas and promote regional economic development along the route,particularly for the less developed regions which is not only an opportunity but also a challenge.How to grasp the opportunity of high-speed economic development and improve people's quality of life is very important.This article put Xu Lan high-speed rail as an object of study for high-speed railway on regional economic development mechanism,analyzes the opening Xu Lan high-speed rail after the economic effects of the areas along and currently underdeveloped areas problems come to conclusions and policy recommendations.This article firstly defined the high-speed railway and the continued growth of the regional economy and evaluated the relevant research at home and abroad.Based on the analysis of the current situation of high-speed railway and the impact on economic growth in underdeveloped areas.Then,after based on the role of Xu Lan high-speed railway in Henan Province along the background area,the establishment of urban space accessibility,travel time value measurement model,empirical analysis of the positive role of the regions along the high-speed rail to bring the less developed regions as well as the presence of potential problems.According to the theoretical analysis and empirical results and combined with foreign high-speed rail which has practical experience on how to promote the less developed regions make policy recommendations the correct use of high-speed rail opportunities.Specific content and conclusions are as follows.From the theoretical analysis of high-speed railway for regional economic development impact,mainly consists of two aspects.One is the impact on traffic along the economic zone;the second is the impact on regional urban spatial structure and layout,industrial structure and other aspects.On this basis,summed up the high-speed rail to the regional economic development gathered up area,the negative multiplier effect,positive brand image and siphon effect,hallway,mismatching shock.In this paper,based on the central region,with Xu Lan high-speed rail as an example empirical study of the high-speed rail for the regional development of Henan province.And also affected by the travel time value measure,urban space up to measure other aspects of analysis of the high-speed action for achieving balanced regional development,and then further analysis of the economic development of undeveloped areas.On the basis of theoretical research and analysis of the proposed Measure underdeveloped areas facing the correct countermeasures high-speed rail era.It pointed out five policy recommendations for the less developed regions including expect too much,building high-speed rail station area blind and other issues.First,learn from the successful experience at home and abroad,and promote regional development;second is integrated into the regional development,reduce the "siphon effect" to create the node function;third is to use high-speed rail an opportunity to foster and support the development of special industries;Fourth,"Zhuchaoyinfeng" to promote demographic dividend further release;Fifth,increase the government policy support,the formation of innovative,coordinated,open,green,share new developments in high-speed rail to promote further economic development in underdeveloped areas.
