With financial liberalization, electronization and the development ofglobalization, countries originally implementing Segregate managementhave steered to mixed operation. Moreover, the subprime lending crisisaccelerated this trend’s advance. The world’s five largest investmentbanks, with their destinies of being acquired or going bankruptcy, seemto claim the arrival of mixed operation era. Along with China’sglobalized economy, financial companies, facing with fierce globalcompetition, are gradually changing their management modes to theworld-class institutions’. Strategic management, based on enterprisestrategic plan, monitors, analyzes and controls the implementation ofenterprise strategy, especially by constraining the resource allocationand controlling career direction, to propel the smooth achievement ofbusiness goals. This research on the investment business of XX bank, byconducting analysis on its external and internal environment, providesit with referential theoretical achievement, research methodology andidea for both ensuring the correct development strategy and promotingcompetitiveness through their transition process.Based on the dynamic management theory of strategic management, theprocess, present and trend analysis of both domestic and foreign banks’development, this paper carries out analysis on external competitionenvironment, PEST and internal environment through XX bank’s investmentbusiness development. Accompanied with these analyses, by using SWOTanalysis tool and considering customer resource, business scope,organization structure and talent team construction, this paper firstly raises proposal on diversification strategy for XX bank’s investmentbusiness development, as well as the strategic alliance mode under thecurrent of financial globalization. Secondly, it puts forward measureson five aspects including the enterprise culture reconstruction,organizational structure improvement, talent team construction,perfection of evaluation mechanism and product innovation, to ensure asuccessful completion of the strategy. The paper finalizes by proposingpowerful guarantees from the perspectives of development strategiccontrol system construction and strategic evaluation to ensure theimplementation of these strategies.
