With the advent of the era of knowledge economy,the competition between modern organizations has evolved into talent competition order to improve competitiveness,modern organizations should improve the intellectual capital of employees,the source of organizational intellectual capital is the core staff, they are the major contributor to business-critical knowledge, skills and relationships. However, the growing rate of staff turnover affects the development of qualified personnel, staff turnover improve human resource management costs greatly and impact on enterprises to build the core competitiveness seriously. So how can modern organizations retain key employees and improve the contribution of knowledge workers is an important research topic of human resource management. This article intends to study the relationship between employability and organizational commitment.Foreign scholars Ulrich(1999), believed that organizational commitment will affect employees’ability to play, thus affect the organization’s intellectual capital. Organizational commitment is an important factor for the employees’organizational attitudes,behavior and job performance. organizational commitment has become an important research topic in the field of human resource management.Many scholars draw that organizational commitment is an important attitude variable to predict organizational citizenship behavior,job performance and turnover intention.Employability affects the career development of employees. Career development is the work expectations of employees in organizations, it also includes a sense of accomplishment or satisfaction in the work of employees. Arthur(1994) pointed out that employees must understand their work motivation, values,attitudes and beliefs, on this basis, the staff should also have the ethics,skills,appropriate interpersonal and social capital.The key factor of the career development of employees is employability, to improve the employability of employees, organizations should provide training opportunities and growing conditions for employees,organizations should improve their knowledge and ability to enable employees to adapt to the changement in the labor market.Employability has two meanings:the capabilities and characteristics of the employees to achieve professional success; excellent human resources of companies to maintain a competitive advantage. With the advent of borderless era of career,the relationship between employees and organizations is changing gradually,the relationship between employees and organizations is no longer the traditional employment relationship, the commitment of the employees has evolved into a psychological contractual relationship.Existing domestic and international studies have shown that employability will decide the employees’ employment options, as well as affect individual career development. Therefore,in the field of human resource management,employability has become an important topic in the study of career development.This paper combings the meaning of employment as well as organizational commitment. Employability is the independent variable of this study, including external and internal employability;Organizational commitment is the dependent variables, including affective commitment,normative commitment,ideals commitment,financial commitment,opportunity commitment.Second,this paper examines the impact of demographic variables on organizational commitment. this paper applies correlation analysis and linear regression analysis to analyze the relationship between employability and organizational commitment.The main research content includes five parts. First, the paper describes the background, significance,research ideas and content. Secondly, this article summarizes the definitions,dimensions, measurement methods and related variables of employability and organizational commitment. Then, this paper presents the research model,research hypotheses,the methods of questionnaire design and research methods.Then, this paper analyzes the questionnaire data, studies the impact of demographic variables on organizational commitment. Finally,the paper analyzes the data processing results and the conclusions,study limitations and recommendations of the present study.The innovation of this paper is contacting the organizational commitment and employability,researching the relationship between organizational commitment and employability,and the object of study is the employees.On the base of the studying on organizational commitment and employees employability,this paper riches empirical studies of employability,puts forward suggestions for staff career development and enterprises.In the end, this paper obtains the following conclusions. The relationship between employability and organizational commitment:Employability affect organizational commitment significantly; Employability affect affective commitment significantly;Employability affect normative commitment significantly;Employability affect ideals commitment significantly;Employability affect financial commitment significantly;Employability affect opportunity commitment significantly. The impact of demographic variables on organizational commitment:Age affect affective commitment and opportunity commitment significantly:Degree affect ideals commitment and opportunity commitment significantly;Length of service affect financial commitment and affective commitment significantly;Position affect opportunity commitment,affective commitment and ideals commitment significantly.
