It has become a hot issue that college graduates face problems in Obtaining employment during the process of China’s economy and social development.It is necessary to study on this problem.Employment policies has changed a lot in the development of China’s labour market.This change causes three different job searching methods, organizational arrangement,market arrangement and network arrangement, in different institutional background. Among them, network arrangement means searching jobs by social network which has become an important alternative job-search method in the labour market.A lot of reach outcome showed that better social network condition can bring better social resources support which is good to obtaining advantage position in competition.For college students, better social network condition can enhance their Competitiveness in Obtaining employment.This research investigates the effects of social networks on students’job searching performance. First, based on the previous study of this field, I put forward the hypothesis of this study. Second, I gathered date through questionnaire, which was analyzed by some statistical methods. Using data from260-student sample, we empirically tested how social networks related to students’job searching performance(including three major dimensions).results show that most social networks variables(including four major dimensions) are positively related to students’job searching performance; Besides,it has been found that the moderating roles of education and family are significant in some Paths respectively;Implications and limitations for the results are also discussed.
