| Spare parts can be divided into two aspects:one kind is used to make sure that manufacture equipments are running. The other is stocked by enterprises to offer maintenance or exchange service to products sold with guarantee. Many factors make enterprises improve the inventory management of service parts, such as enhancing the company’s competition, improving customers’sevice level, bringing the huge profit, reducing the cost etc. Obviously, the research has important practical significance.It is found through literature review that most of the existing researches focus on demand forecast and classification of spare parts. In comparison with that, few papers research the service parts, let alone the inventory control of service parts. The paper proposed to apply AHP method to classify all the service parts into two categories with the following three criterions:criticality, demand pattern and value which are basic characteristics of service parts. The two groups’service parts have certain logic connections, which are defined as matching coefficient. In the fourth chapter, we establish a model on the basis of newsboy theory and considering the variance matching coefficient to optimize inventory cost of all service parts. Then, we obtain the optimal solution. After that, other model is setup based on (r,Q)theory and matching coefficient in order to get the lowest cost of all service parts stocked by enterprise. In the last chapter, we give the summary of the main contents and emphasis of the thesis, and then point out the limitations and future direction of the studv. |
