Research On International Competitiveness Of Zhejiang Electronic Information Industry

Electronic information industry became a decisive force in a country’s economicdevelopment as human society entered the era of knowledge economy. In thisbackground， Zhejiang electronic information industry seized opportunities of globalIT industry labor division and cross-border transfer to achieve the rapid developmentin this area and become the dominant and pillar industry in Zhejiang nationaleconomy. In recent years， Zhejiang electronic information products have become theleading and important driving force in exports. Zhejiang electronic informationindustry absorbed a large amount of foreign investment which not only made up forthe shortage of development funds to a certain extent， but also greatly promoted theoverall international competitiveness. By analyzing and researching on foreigninvestment effects to international competitiveness of Zhejiang electronic informationindustry， it is of great practical significance to the rational use of foreign investmentand the sound development of electronic information industry in Zhejiang.This paper studies on foreign investment and effects on internationalcompetitiveness of Zhejiang electronic information industry by fully collecting andcollating theories of foreign technology spillovers at home and abroad. The articlesystematically researches on the dynamic process of technology spillovers byadopting industrial organization theory of oligopoly theory and game theory astheoretical tools， and discusses the role of technology spillovers in detail throughdata analysis and regression analysis method. It tries to make a variety of research andanalysis on foreign investment impacts to international competitiveness of Zhejiangelectronic information industry at different angles. It is found that， through thestudy， foreign invested electronic information industry exports in Zhejiang at presentmainly depend on their own international competitive advantages， not on technologyspillover effects. This shows that there are still some shortcomings and disadvantageslimit the positive effects on the use of foreign investment. At last， the essay putsforward some corresponding recommendations on foreign investment effects tointernational competitiveness in the development of electronic information industry inZhejiang on the basis of systematic empirical analysis.
