Research On Cartographic Generalization In County-Leveled Overall Land-Use Plan Based On GIS

The construction of information technology is an important method of promoting leap-forward development of the IT and scientific management in land resources. According to the overall arrangements for the new round of Landuse Planning and the construction of land resources-" A Whole Map", and based on the information planning of land resources and the development outline of cadastral management, China will complete a number of basic and strategic database constructions which may support land resource management and afford social services. At the same time, landuse planning database with the integration of urban and rural areas, four (national, provincial, city and county) networking interoperability, will be established.In order to promtoting the level of GIS application in land use planning,looking for the method of improving the efficiency of the overall land use planning and mapping and meeting the different decision-making at different scales of land use planning map for more effective conversion. The author deeply study the mapping specification and theory,with the help of computer technology,GIS and spatial database technology,practise and achieve the following:map classification and cartography generalization of large scale land use planning and create muti-scale land use planning maps of the spatial database.The traditional method of land use planning cartography generalization is so low effective that it can’t meet the requirements of accuracy efficiency and aesthetics of the land overall use.Through this study combining computer technology with GIS technology,the author draws some more effective methods of mapping cartography.Compared with several mapping software mapping process,the author choose a fast and simple method to provide practical application for moses people drawing operation.This paper is a solution based on the above issues,the content as the following:First, according to land use planning and mapping specification requirements of county and township, establish the database considering the different requirements and the actual situation,chose the different key elements to express the overall land use planning mapping and conclude some theorys about land use overall planning.Secondly,under the comprehensive mapping theorys,the author draws the principle of the overall land use planning mapping,and achieves land use planning to cartographic generalization using GIS.convert the large-scale planning database to small-scale planning database,and give the key techniques realization process.Thirdly,take example for Wangkui county of Heilongjiang Province, and establish the database of county level and Huojian township,1:10000to1:25000Township(town) level land use planning database, the1:25000township (town) level land use planning database to1:10000county-level land-use two scales of the overall planning database conversion, respectively, for a useful practical attempt.At last summarize and evaluate the research.
