Input-Output Analysis Of China’s Metal Ore Mining Industry

Industries of the national economy are an integral whole. Each of these industrieshas not only the producers but also the consumers. The Metals Mining industry asbasic industry of the national economy is closely linked to other industries. It has asignificant impact on development of the national economy. So, from the input-outputangle of metal ore mining industry development law, helps to reveal the Chinesemetal ore mining industry’s characteristics, for China’s metal ore mining industrydevelopment to provide decision-making basis, for the promotion of metal ore miningindustry and even national economy development has important sense.The present study mainly limited to metal ore mining industry which is includedin the mining sector or in mining enterprises, analyzes the internal relationshipbetween input and output, and how the metal ore mining industry as a separateindustry, using the input-output method to study the whole of its industrycharacteristics of the relatively few articles. This article is from this perspective, usingthe input output method and the theory of industrial economics, on China ’sinput-output table is adjusted, preparation of metal ore mining industry input-outputtable, and on the basis of our metal ore mining industry input-output analysis, finallydiscusses the promotion of China’s mining industry development suggestion.Firstly, this thesis applied industrial economics and input-output analysis method,to the National Bureau of Statistics announced five year cycle of a new data--in1997,2002and2007value input output table as the basis, try to put the metal ore miningindustry and other industry according to the new classification principles ofintegration, after appropriate data adjustment and balance, developed to metal oremining industry input-output table.Secondly, the newly established metal ore mining industry input-output table,through the direct consumption coefficients, direct distribution coefficient,intermediate input rate, intermediate demand rate, sensitivity coefficient, influencecoefficient, final use coefficient and final dependence and other important indicators,the metal ore mining industry level of development, industrial correlationcharacteristics and industry spread effect research. Finally, on the basis of the above analysis, this paper on China’s metal oremining industry development countermeasure make several suggestions are putforward, including clear metal ore mining industry positioning, strategic alliances,reinforced metal ore mining industry technology innovation ability.In conclusion, the results of this study, can give our country metal ore miningindustry department in charge of the development of metal ore mining industrydevelopment strategy, guiding metal ore mining industry development work toprovide a basis and reference.
