Aircraft Manufacturing Enterprise Supply Chain And Logistics Management Optimization Method Research And SCM Information System Development

Aircraft manufacturing enterprises possess national strategic significance. Thesupply chain management research of aircraft manufacturing industry can helpimprove the operational and financial performance. Aircraft manufacturers indeveloped countries, such as the United States and Europe, take advantage not only byR&D capability, manufacturing capacity, but also by efficient supply chaincoordinated. Future competition no longer exists among enterprises, but will takeplace between supply chains.The thesis conduct intensive study of optimization of supply chain of aircraftmanufacturing enterprises, combining successful factors of top enterprise with thedomestic environment, development levels, laws and regulations. The study contentinclude the SOI model by core manufacturing enterprise-led initial stage of VMI, to anormal VMI model based in the new re-located HUB in the Free Trade Zone, toupdated model cooperated with BLP policy to create added value, to the globalcentralized purchasing VMI model, until fully optimize kit-to-line VMI model.Researching field include of physical and operational processes, informationcoordination process, the commercial value (including the analysis of inventory costs,cash flow optimization, the analysis of the impact of return on investment, logisticscosts etc.) and a brief introduction of information system building.At the thesis, also partly study other related issues just like the system to reducethe over-buy materials and the3PL’s function in SCM management and its IT systembuilding etc.
