| With the rapid development of the market economy,the competition between enterprises has quietly begun to change,from the original single-player mode to the competition mode between the entire supply chain.This means that companies need to consider all aspects from the perspective of the supply chain.Inventory is an important part of supply chain management.Managing inventory of enterprises can guarantee the efficiency and efficiency of supply chain management to a certain extent.In this context,the new inventory management model-Vendor Management Inventory(VMI,English full name Vendor Management Inventory)came into being.In the VMI mode,the company assigns its inventory decision-making power to the supplier.After the supplier grasps the change of the raw material demand in the supply chain,the supplier centrally manages the inventory according to the inventory information,production plan,market forecast and other data provided by the enterprise,and effectively integrates the resources.To improve the speed of supply and the ability to respond to the market,the traditional upstream and downstream enterprises in the inventory management "self-sweeping the snow" situation.Based on the literature research,this paper chooses A company as the research object for case analysis:first introduces the current status of A company's inventory management,reveals the problems of company A in inventory management,and analyzes its causes;Based on the analysis of the actual situation of the company,the company proposes an inventory management optimization plan based on VMI mode of A company,and elaborates its implementation objectives,program design and implementation steps,and faces the company's implementation in the process of implementing VMI management.The challenges were analyzed and corresponding solutions were proposed.The future provides useful reference and reference for the implementation of enterprise VMI management. |
