When customers look forwardto more requirement, product structure and technical is more complex than before, themanufacturing factory is faced with how to further improve the quality of product.Review the20years development of Mobile phone industry in China, from Motorolacell phone is outshine others, now more than200pieces of mobile phone productionlicence, Motorola mobile phone is facing enormous challenge. How to improve thequality of intelligent mobile phones, is the core of keeping competitiveness.For manufacturing company, quality management should focus on productionline management. Currently the main issues are that the structure of product is toocomplicated, difficult to assemble; so many key process, easy to cause qualityvariance in mass production; inspection item not fully cover customers requirement,and cycle time is bottleneck; the operators leave frequently cause lack of technologyunderstanding and quality awareness. Base on the above factors, the production failrate become worse, impact the balance of quality and productivity. Defects impactproduction output, but speed up line will cause more defects. It is a vicious circle,necessary to solve the each factor that affect production line, make quality andproductivity two-win.This research is base on the production line, use of total quality management,Poka-Yoke solution and six sigma management, focus on4M1E (man, machine,material, method, circumstance) to take quality improvement. This paper focuses onoptimization of fixture, key process management, inspection efficiency and qualityawareness, analyze and provide solve method. On mass production line, process,inspection and training are team work. The continue improvement of these3moduleare our long-term task.
