Capability Study In Manufacutre Project Qaulity Management

Capability study is very important in the manufacture fields. Thecapability index shows us the real capability of the process. We can get moreinformation from the study which guides us whether improve the process.Unfortunately we often misunderstand them or use them in wrong way.In the west developed countries or developing country China we are easy tofind the different ideas from the articles or books. How to use thecomplicated capability index becomes very important.This article bases on the statistical theory in order to analyze it. It isclear to show us the capability study including gage capability study, machinecapability study, process capability study, Preliminary Capability andperformance capability. And it illustrates the difference among thosecapabilities and shows us how to use it in good way.With Minitab15software the article is made a real sample for thecompleted capability study from the real manufacture project. As the result ofthe study the article is very useful for the manufacture quality improvement.
