With the rapid development of economy and the enhancement of supply-demandrelationship, the supply-demand relationship in enterprises plays a core andindispensible part in the supply chain. The selection of suppliers becomes one of theimportant issues in confrontation with enterprises. How to find the suitable suppliersfor long-term cooperation and how achieve win-win objective are the researchprojects for the Procurement Department in many enterprises.In the PC industry, LX company has taken the lead, though, there still exitscertain risks and threats that will hinder the company’s development, for instance, LXtraditional purchasing mode is unable to keep up with the pace of the PC industrial.Consequently, as one important link in the LX supply chain; the issue of supplierselection becomes an urgent key problem requiring instant solution.The author will make research into the actual situation of the supplier selectionissue in LX Company. By choosing reasonable supplier index, using layer analyticalmethod, the author finally found out the most ideal supplier for LX Company. At thesame time, a long-term strategic management for suppliers is conducted arriving at thewin-win objective of LX Company and the chosen supplier.Based on the industrial environment of LX Company, and scientific analysis theauthor unveiled the most suitable supplier selection for LX Company, ie. qualitycompetitiveness. After evaluating the suppliers’ quality competitiveness, the suitable,and high-qualified suppliers will be seen. Meanwhile, when the suppliers are chosen,a long-term strategic management is also needed, which ensures the interdependencyand mutual trust of enterprises and suppliers to achieve greater benefits and moresecure quality and to obtain the long-term steady and common development for bothenterprises and suppliers.
