Study On Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Tianjin Electric Power Company’s Performance Management

By the reform become faster and faster in China, the Company has a strongrequirement to build the modern management system. Be the most important part, thePerformance Management of the state owned enterprise has focused by the societystrongly. A lot of experts research on it, and a lot of company try to benefit from theimplementation of Performance Management. Benefited by the practices and theresearches, the Performance Management of the companies in China has been hugelyimproved.As one of the most important state owned enterprise in Tianjin City, TianjinElectric Power Company starts to carry out the Performance Management reformsince2005, which is one of the earliest enterprises in Tianjin too. But after manyyears, the old Performance Management System cannot fit the company’s change anymore. Because of that, Tianjin Electric Power Company starts the project of thePerformance Management system improvement. And I am a chief member of theproject’s team.This paper is the summary of the project, and analysed the advantage anddisadvantage of the project.This paper has the main content of:1. Described the way of how to build a new Performance Management systemwhich based on the new different KPI/PBC for managers and workers.2. Build a new Performance Management theory which adapts the newrequirement of the company.3. Show the way of how to set up the high-performance IT system which servicedfor the Performance Management of the company.
