After Chongqing is directly under the central government, tourism infrastructurehas received a certain development, the number of inbound tourists is much larger thanin the past and it has been growing substantially. At the same time, the per capitaconsumption of the inbound tourists also has a certain growth. With Chongqing beingthe destination of more inbound tourists, Chongqing tourism research becomesparticularly important. Nowadays, the academia of our country has put lots of moneyand effort to study the tourists’ satisfaction, but there are a few doing the research oninbound tourists’ satisfaction. This paper takes inbound tourists’ satisfaction ofChongqing as the main content of the research, makes comprehensive use of customersatisfaction theory, consumer behavior theory and tourism marketing theory, selectsexpectancy disparity model as main research method, uses the method of questionnaireinvestigation, field survey and interview method and mathematical statistics to study theinbound tourist’ satisfaction of Chongqing. At last, it puts forward the relevantcountermeasures of the development of inbound tourism of Chongqing. In this paper,firstly, the literatures related to the research of visitors’ satisfaction and inbound tourismmarket are summarized so that the current literature system is analyzed. Secondly, theconcepts related to the research are adopted or discarded for the demand of the research.In the third part, based on the literature review, the method of research is elected,questionnaires are designed and the designed questionnaires are rationally studied, at last,the questionnaires are distributed to made investigations. The fourth part, analyzeaccording to the survey data. It includes descriptive statistics analysis and reliabilityanalysis, validity analysis, factor analysis and T value test. Finally, obtains what shouldbe kept, what should be improved and what remains to be settled on Chongqing inboundtourism. The fifth part, analyze the data in the light of Chongqing inbound tourismtourist satisfaction research and find out the relevant countermeasures of Chongqinginbound tourism development. The sixth part, the conclusions and shortages.
