In recent years, drastic changes has taken place in external environment for FreeTrade Zone (FTZ) in China, it is imperative to reengineer the enterprise businessprocess in that the management and processes systems, which most FTZ haveimplemented, cannot match the requirements of enterprise development anymore.This paper systematically studies the status quo of logistics and processreengineering of China’s FTZ, using research methods such as surveys, interviews, acombination of qualitative and quantitative methods with a quantitative analysis andcase studies combined.The paper firstly describes and analyzes the logistics business processes andorganizational structures to find out defect in the existing process. The Second partreviews three main aspects of research involved, including the relationship betweenthe theory of modern logistics management, business process reengineering andprocess reengineering and enterprise logistics management. The third chapter is toanalyze the status quo of China’s FTZ logistics business, including the basic situation,the logistics business processes and the main content of the various processes, andeach process. Chapter IV describes the rapid response operation based on processreengineering (agile logistics operation). Based on the theory above, FTZ logisticsbusiness process reengineering program is designed in Chapter V.
