Semiconductor wafer foundry industry in integrated circuit design, productdevelopment and product manufacturing and sales of industrial cluster, is facing thesociety, consumer-oriented high-tech manufacturing industries. With the increasinglysophisticated IC design, the market competition is becoming increasingly fierce, higherorder process being constantly asked, and price competition has become the primarymeans of business competition. Research and development of new projects is to drivebusiness development effective way, through new project planning arrangements topromote the reform of enterprise interior system, bring different product manufacturingefficiency. New process research and development cost management is the core ofproject cost management, the core content is to coordinate the distribution of existing inthe use of project funds, comprehensive improvement project operation income. Basedon the principles of economics, the project cost control should adhere to the direction ofpoint of view, so as to realize the cost profit is the biggest change, for the enterprise tosave more money for other investment.Considering the foundry industry potential development space, to take the necessarycost control scheme is essential, in ensuring the processing quality of products under thepremise to realize optimization of economic benefits. This article first to semiconductorwafer foundry enterprise R&D project cost manages the problem of existence as thestarting point, in-depth analysis of foundry enterprise cost control and real significance,put forward the necessity of research. Then, from the point of the way along, the projectcost management related theory of semiconductor wafer foundry enterprise new processproject cost management related to the theoretical content, for the latter part of costcontrol to provide scientific guidance. Again, this paper uses qualitative method analyzedthe effect of the new process of R&D project cost management factors, master decidedto project cost control specific reason, on this basis provides the feasible management method, in order to achieve project cost minimization. Finally, taken the company’s R&D project as an example, this thesis provided empirical references to the foundryenterprises in research and development of project cost management..
