As a result, only to meet normal requirement of self-development for Chinese manufacturers is not enough, they need take thechallenge of global operation. Based on strategic targets, to get effectiveadministration methods and exceed customers’ expectation, that’s soimportant for companies to know how to become capable of overall andaccurately evaluating operation performance, of analyzing performancedrivers and of bringing out continuous improvement.The administration requirement of performance evaluation is to providean integrated overview of company operation multi-dimensionally,dynamically and systematically. To discuss the evaluation structure ofmanufacture, the paper starts from academic theories and recent researches ofperformance evaluation. Then it introduces current situation of modernmanufacture industry, and analyzes its evaluation system features. Throughsummarizing a great deal of first-hand information of study case, the paperdiscusses how JCI Corporation sets up and improves its performance evaluation system. The existing researches mainly focus on statistic methodsand model analysis for metrics data evaluation. However, as a multi industrybusiness corporation, with a number of subordinate companies, JCI takesanother way: it takes advantages of information technology, and founds asystem targeting different function units. Finally, the purpose of this paper isto support industry manufacturers to improve their administration module,and to enhance their performance evaluation level. |
