With the increasing social competition and challenge, the effects of employees are very important. But, the problem of employee silence appears. Employee silence behaviors will cause huge negative effect to individual, and organization. Society Researchers always focus on managers and issues on organizational level when they studied employee silence behaviors before, and ignored psychology state of employee may have effect on such behaviors. In fact, factors from both organization and individual levels will make employee keep silence. The research results showed that psychology capital will affect many kinds of employees’behaviors, which inspire people to study the relationship between psychological capital and employee silence. Hence this paper studies which factors influence employee silence behaviors and the relationship between psychology capital and employee silence behaviors.This study used employee silence behaviors questionnaire, employee intra-organizational trust questionnaire and psychology capital PCQ-24questionnaire to investigate230employees of11different enterprises from some cities. SPSS16.0was used for dealing with the data, and came to the conclusions as follows:firstly, psychology capital had a negative effect on three kinds of employee silence behavior; secondly, four dimensions of psychology capital(self-efficacy, resiliency, optimism and hope) had negative effects on employee silence behaviors; thirdly, position feature was a mediator between psychology capital and two dimensions of employee silence behaviors:acquiescence silence and disregardful silence behavior, while it had no effect between psychology capital and defensive silence behavior; fourthly, employee intra-organizational trust was a mediator between psychology capital and employee silence behaviors.Results showed that if managers want to eliminate employee silence behaviors, they not only need to take action at organizational level, such as increasing employees’trust for organization, but also need to take effective measures form employee psychology capital prospective. Only in this way employee silence behaviors can be eliminated.
