Application Study Of Team Management Maturity In Construction Industry Project

With the development of economy, especially civil engineering industry in China, as a form of organization, project management team has been paid more and more attention. Blended into a concept of people-centered, the contents of project team management have been deepened and developed. Whether the project management team is mature, and whether it is an efficient team becomes the focus of the study for many scholars. This article puts emphasis on the maturity of construction industry project team management, and focuses on the establishment of evaluation indicators for maturity.Borrowed ideas from domestic and international excellent experience, and combined with the characteristics of the construction industry and management status in China, the evaluation indicators for maturity of project team management for construction industry, which provides the basis for the management of a project team level, has been established first.In order to evaluate the level of maturity for a project team, evaluation system has been built correspondingly in the paper. In this evaluation system, whether the key processes (or process domain) are met is the core analysis. Process domain for a team in certain period and evaluation of maturity level matched have been analyzed and educed accordingly. Combined with internal instance of civil engineering project management maturity assessment, raising mechanism for maturity level of civil engineering industry project management team has been analyzed meanwhile.Finally, qualitative and quantitative analysis of evaluation for the entire evaluation system has been offered in the paper. According to qualitative evaluation methods, which judge whether a team meets to the key process characteristics of the domain, we can derive the appropriate maturity level for a project team.And by the means of quantitative analysis, how to get data, and how to analyze a team’s level of maturity are been studied.
