ASA Group Holdings Ltd. is one of the best leading manufactures in ceramics industry with almost forty years history in China even in Asia. With the registered trademark of ASA tiles, ASA group has a great reputation in ceramic field. The brand value of ASA tiles is more than three billion yuan. ASA Group has invested in3600million US dollars in China. During the tough time of global economic recession, ASA group faces a lot of developing problems. The primary problem is the unreasonable usage of human resources, such as the whole level of human resources are lower, the strategy of human management is not suitable to the company strategy, person’s qualification and ability don’t match the position qualification. Therefore, human resource department must firstly improve the matching degree of person and position.Person-Position Fit is the basis of effective disposal and reasonable usage of human resources. The core of Person-Position Fit is to make the matching in the most reasonable condition. That is to say, a person can exert his biggest enthusiasm and dig out one’s biggest potential on the position. Meanwhile, this position can give the person a great sense of achievement and a sense of position superiority. Therefore, the person can gain the best achievement. The Person-Position Fit degree directly affects the beneficial result of the reasonable usage and integral matching of the other resources inside the organization. It’s the key element to decide whether the organization can develop continuously, steadily and fast.Various fields of management are directly or indirectly related to Person-Position Fit, such as organizational behavior, human resource, psychology, coordination theory. On the basis of these theories, this thesis analyzes the current human resource of ASA group and finds out the main problems of Person-Position Fit. Finally this thesis proposes several suggestions to improve Person-Position Fit. These suggestions help ASA group to increase the rate that candidates are qualified for the positions and decrease the rate that the candidates quit the jobs to enhance the maximum efficiency. On the process of Person-Position Fit, company culture plays an important role. The core staff are vital for the development of the company.
