Research On Rural Micro-credit Development In Underdeveloped Minority Area

Farmers are the root of people and they are very important to the country. The key and difficult problem of well-off society construction of our country is in farmer.How to improve farmers’ living standards and enhance their self-development abilities in order to realize rapid and sustainable development of the rural economy should be solved urgently. In recent years, with continuous research of rural micro-credit, it is getting more and more attentions, the academic circles also undertook ceaseless explorations and put forward a series of theories and guiding methods. Rural micro-credit is a kind of financial service which mainly concentrates on providing small amount, continued credit to rural poverty and low income group, help them get rid of poverty.This paper takes rural micro-credit in Tongxin County of Ningxia as the main research content, through comparing research and field survey,clarifying strengths, weakness opportunities and threats of rural micro-credit by using SWOT analytic methods.Based on drawing lessons from overseas and other areas in the development of rural micro-credit practice and successful experience, the paper puts forward some proposals and suggestions of rural micro-credit on this basis.
