It is urgent to apply risk management to engineering project. Nowadays, the study of risk management has become a hot issue in project management field.This thesis will follow the traditional risk management system in term of risk identification, risk evaluation, risk disposal and risk monitoring. Through the object of the Baosteel stainless steel welded pipe project, some project management tools such as Question Investigate, expert’s marking methods are used. All the potential project risk factors are identified. This thesis appraise the change of market, cost time limit, safety, which can impact the target of the project. This thesis analyzes the risks of the project. Besides, the reply, supervision and control of risks are also discussed.Firstly, this paper introduces the background of the project briefly. It is much necessary to study the project risk.Secondly, the paper systematically introduces the theory of engineering project risk management.
