With the flourish of automotive industry in China, especially in the backgroundof the global economic depression in2007and2008, China Automotive andautomotive components manufacturing industry remains relatively high growth rateand become one of the pillar industries of the national economy of China.However,the rapid growth of China Automobile Industry has started to slow down in2009, sothe major automotive OEM manufacturers have proposed to improve productionmethods to improve production efficiency, at the same time, in order to seize marketshare, major automobile manufacturers for some models to increase more-configuredto meet the individual requirements of the End-Customers, such as FAW-Volkswagen’s Audi brand. Lean Production and TPM management once again appearin the strategic management system of major automotive OEM. An emergingproduction-logistics mode–mode JIS concept (Just-In-Sequence Concept) hasquietly applied to the manufacturing process of the major automotive OEM and firsttier manufacturers supply.The main purpose of this paper is based oncase about the transition from the JITmode (Just-In-Time Concept)to the JIS mode (Just-In-Sequence Concept) in ZFFAWERChassis Technology(Changchun) Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as: CTC)to introduce the implementation process of the Just-In-Sequence patterns, and how toanalyze, study and solve problems encountered in the implementation process and,ultimately, the JIS mode of production so as to enhance the stability of the business,and maximize corporate profits.Therefore in this paper that the key point of the theory regardingthe origin,connotation, nature, feature, element of key composition, mechanism of formulation,promotion and so on have been studied and analyzed in depth based on the existingachievement and the module, summarize and organizing and has formulated a suitable JIS mode according to company own characteristics,Then, based on the leanmanufacturing theory and modular manufacturing theory, analyzingtheCTC’sProduction-Logistics mode via the modeling method and inventory of theABC-XYZ analysis method, to identify CTC is the pioneer in the field of automobilechassis parts assembling and its Production-Logistics process is running stablyinexisting project via relying on the current advanced information systems, productioncontrol systems and manufacturing equipment under the use of Just-In-Timemode;However, due to changes in external factors, such as automotive OEM increasetheir capacity production, reduce their production beat and internal factors changes,e.g. the factory space is reserved for new projects, cause existingProduction-Logistics process and information application system inconsistentetc.series of questions, such as logistics to buffer stock area and sorting areaspaceinsufficient, logistics complex process of sorting degree rise, manufacturingequipment modification, information application systems reengineering, theadjustment of process operation and multiple projects mixed line production. Finally,on the basis of the above conclusions, the use of Just-In-Sequence mode theorymodule and evaluation criteria for re-planning and implementation of the ZF FAWERthe production and logistics process to solve the major contradictions and problems inthe process of production logistics.
