With the deepening of economic globalization and fierce social competition, the traditional concepts and the management modes are confronted with new challenges. The focus of competitions of the modern enterprises, has gradually shift to the grab of talents. How to attract talents. keep talents, and develop the potential of talents have become the key factor to the sustainable development of the enterprises. Thus. Modern enterprises’ managers care the staff job satisfaction more and more. Staffs satisfaction is various attitudes which can show out the degree of satisfaction to all aspects of the work. It directly affects the staffs working enthusiasm and creativity, then affects the efficiency of enterprises and the interests of the shareholders. X steel enterprise, the largest steel joint enterprise, which has been in constant merger,reorganization and transformation in recent two years, have not investigated the staff satisfaction comprehensively and deeply in terms of the rapid development and transformation of the enterprise. In2010, the X steel enterprise is confronted with impacts from the other world-class large steel companies, with its entrance to the500top enterprises in the world. How to measure and evaluate employee satisfaction, and build a high efficiency, stable staff team have become the problems which X steel enterprise should solve urgerly.In this article, through the review of the domestic and foreign staff job satisfaction relevant literature, the study of various connotations, theoretical foundations, compositions and influent factors, survey methods and measuring tools, and on the basis of the combinations of the theory and the practice, the macroscopic and microscopic,quantity and quality,the author followed the characters and the needs of staffs in X steel enterprise, and then used the self-made employee satisfaction survey questionnaire to conduct an investigation. The author studied five factors Influenced the enterprise staff satisfaction, they are, the job itself, the working relationship, the enterprise culture, the rewards, and the enterprise management. Besides, the author used SPSS software to analyze the survey data in a multiple and comprehensive perspect, and revealed the present situation and the existing problems in X steel enterprise. Finally, according to the theory research and practice test results, the article put forward suggestions from the job itself, the working relationship, the enterprise culture, the rewards, and the enterprise management five aspects.The results of this paper make the steel enterprises’ leaders understand their staffs’ attitude better, playing an important role in motivating employees, improving staff job satisfaction and the enterprise management. At the same time, this paper has a good reference value to the other steel enterprises’ staff satisfaction.
