As a capital city in Jiangxi Province, Nanchang, which takes an irreplaceable position for Jiangxi’s economic development, plays a very significant role.As The Plan of Poyang Lake Ecological-economic Zone puts, Nanchang City belongs to "high intensive development area". Nanchang, as the leading modern capital city in Jiangxi Province, must seize the strategic once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity of the construction of a National Poyang Lake Eco-economic Zone strategy and better explore a unique way of fusion of the great city and the great lakes so as to rank six Number Ones in the Province.
