Study On The Integration And Application Of The Second Land Survey Data

The Second National Land Survey was launched on July1,2007. Inorder to realize the information internet sharing, the main task of theinvestigation includes the following: rural land surveys; urban land surveysand the investigation of the basic farmland, through which the land usedatabase and the cadastral information system would be established. Therapid updating mechanism which can count and monitor the land resourcesinformation will be built on the basis of the investigation.The Second Land Survey of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regioncommenced in July2007. The important achievement of the second landsurvey of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is the state land surveydatabase management system which is established through checking andintegrating the State-level database based on the County-level database. Thedatabase of land survey is consisted of application database and metadata.Application database is made up of spatial database, non-spatial database;metadata consists of vector data metadata, digital orthophoto map (DOM)metadata and so on. According to the Standard For Land Use Database, thecontent of the database can be divided into the following parts: Basicgeographic information data which includes administrative boundaries andadministrative region; Land-use data which include Class diagram patch,linear feature, land boundary, etc; Land ownership data which include parcel,boundary line, boundary-point and so on; Raster data which includes digitalorthophoto map (DOM), digital raster maps and other raster data; Metadatawhich include vector metadata data, digital orthophoto map (DOM)metadata. The Second land survey database provide the basic data both forthe regional daily land management and for all levels of government and the land resources management department to full use and manage the landresources.The achievement of the second land survey in Inner Mongolia is wide-coverage and rich in content. The database play an important role indifferent areas,such as the field of land management,it mainly used for landuse planning, Land remediation and farmland protection, Construction landapproval and regulatory approved, construction project site and application.In urban and rural construction aspect,it mainly research on digital city andpromote rural information construction.In administrative decision-making,itmainly involved in the whole macro-control, establish the investigationmechanism of inter-department survey results. In social service aspect, itmainly provide social services for public information inquiries, the sixthcensus, improving the land market and the system of land property rights.The second land survey database would provide strong technical support forthe management and dynamic monitor of the territorial resources in InnerMongolia.
