The Innovation And Nurturing Of China Overseas R&D Main Body’s Structure

With the development of knowledge economy and the deepening of globeleconomy, every country gradually increases overseas R&D for adapting tocompetitives from others. Multinational companies are really main bodies in thismovement. Currently, there is “subjective vacancy” in China overseas R&D.System-related block exists in transnational R&D between Large enterprises andSmall-Medium-Enterprises(SME), and overseas R&D micro subject has low statusand is “edged” in international R&D alliance. These problems badly restrict Chinaoverseas R&D input-benefit and International Competitiveness’s raise of FDI. In thisconnection, we should enhance transformation and upgrading of China overseas R&Dmain body’s structure, and build interactive mechanism between Large enterprises andSME, and vigorously nurture “Little Giant” transnational corporations and impel themto be our overseas R&D micro subjects gradually.This paper focuses on the construction stage of China’s overseas R&D and ourindustrializational background, different from other researches on simple stationarydescription, it gives dynamic comparison between Western countries and China of thesame industrialization stage.Finally, this paper not only draws the defects of ouroverseas R&D, but also gives good suggestions for its main body’s fostering. Basedon presentation of question and literature review, this paper gives out new researchperspectives and research significance, research methods and technological path forinnovation. As the foundation of academics, we use classified theories which could beused to explain western transnaional R&D’s mainbodies, gives the Evolution rules foroverseas R&D’s mainbody’s structure.Meantime, this paper focuses on existingcircumstances of representative nations of Western countries and China, andsummarizes their mechanisms and our defects. In order to enhance this paper’sconvincingness, we do the empirical test on the mechanisms and our overseas R&D’smain body with three methods based on comparions between us and Korea orAmerica.All these synthetical studies reach the conclusion, and proposes advices ofChina’s fostering main body for overseas R&D.
