Entering the new century, the world feels smaller, the distance between people is closer.Although the terms of the boundaries between countries is still very clear from the politicallandscape, but the economic landscape has long been intertwined, the worldwide economiccompetition is being intensified.After our country joined the WTO (World Trade Organization), the economy has beendeveloping rapidly. Presence of foreign transnational corporations in China, while China’sdomestic transnational corporations are actively go out, such as Haier, Lenovo, ZTE and so alarge number of enterprises in the international market and compete with them on the samestage. Chinese transnational corporations to expatriates to overseas subsidiaries, at the sametime, the company will have some foreign employees with different culturalbackground.Whether it is sent the employees to other countries or recruit expatriateemployees will encounter the problemof cultural differences. If the employee is not welladapted to this difference will affect the efficiency and enthusiasm for his work, therebyaffecting the performance of an enterprise.Cross-cultural human resource management is how to effectively investigate humanresource management activities in a cross-cultural context, in order to help companies betterintegrate human resources, stable and efficient conduct of business activities.This paper begins with the perspective of cultural differences, recalling thecross-cultural human resource management theory,then analysis the cross-cultural humanresource management of Chinese transnational corporations.Analysis from Chinese culturalcharacteristics and the historical development of Chinese transnational corporations, thendiscover some of the problems in the overseas operations of transnational corporations in thepresence of human resource management and to address these issues put forward relevantcountermeasures. Finally took H (a company) as an example, introduced the development ofH and analyzed the cross-culturalhuman resource management of H. Through the analysis, therelevant measures taken by H and the proposed recommendations have many similarities, andhave achieved good results in transnational business in recent years, further proved that theproposal has some rationality and feasibility.
