A Study On Development Of Sheep Industry In Inner Mongolia

Since the reform and opening up, the development of the sheep industry in China is accelerating, and growing into a "sunrise industry" in livestock industry. As the country’s largest mutton provinces, the sheep industry occupies a very important position in Inner Mongolia autonomous regions. A study on development of sheep industry in Inner Mongolia has a very important practical and theoretical significance for meeting the growing domestic lamb needs, the development of livestock industry in Inner Mongolia and the promotion of the income of farmers and herdsmen in Inner Mongolia.This paper uses method of empirical and normative research to analyze the sheep industry development in Inner Mongolia. Firstly, to analyze the sheep industry development in china at this moment, it is argued that the status of the sheep industry maintaining the gradual increase in livestock industry. Sheep slaughtering and processing industry has arrived initial development, and lamb consumption is gradually increasing. Secondly, to study the sheep industry in Inner Mongolia systematically, to analyze the problems which the Inner Mongolia sheep industry faced Finally, to promote the countermeasures for the development of the sheep industry development in Inner Mongolia.
