The consumption of Liquor in China has a long history, but the food demand of liquor perhaps may lead to a tense situation for grain production supplement. So, I am going to analysis the relationship between liquor consumption at home and outside dining under the Tobit model, with the survey data about family food consumption in6cities including Chengdu, Beijing, Nanjing, Xian, Shenyang and Xiamen. In addition, I am going to use the Tobit model to analyze the influencing factors among the liquor consumption at home, outside home, and the total. The research conclusion illustrates that:1. There is no significant relationship about the liquor consumption at home and outside home. The different factors may lead to different influences to both of them. So, if we wish to analyse the liquor consumption at home, we need to consider the outside home liquor consumption as need.2. The family income, age structure, and sex structure has a dramatic influence to family liquor consumption.3. There is an inverted U relationship between income and3aspects of liquor consumption. In nowadays, the research shows that all of the3kinds of liquor consumption are keep the escalating trend as the income increase.4. The liquor consumption in the future may grow further, which provides a development opportunity to our liquor industry. However, this situation also brings more pressure to our grain production supplement, due to the increasing food demand by producing liquor.
