Enterprise strategic management research emphasizes starting from the advantages and disadvantages of the company, combines with the company’s external opportunities and threats analysis, finds the development strategy for the company and puts it into practice. Rising in the1960s, the research of strategic management has had rapid development in recent years. It was widely used in various fields and made extremely obvious effect in practice. Shanghai electric wind power equipment company, as a wind power equipment machine supplier, has advantages and disadvantages and external opportunities and threats as well. Especially in the current market downturn and competitive situation, the research of its development strategy is particularly important.Wind power as a renewable energy with low cost, mature technology and high reliability, has developed rapidly and has begun to play an important role in energy supply in recent years. After several years of rapid development, domestic wind power market exposes some problems, some of which are very outstanding including excess capacity, power grid construction lagging behind, the power grid consumption difficulty.These problems affect the healthy development of the wind power market.Aiming at the market challenge faced by Shanghai electric wind power equipment company, the article analyzes the development strategy of wind power equipment company from the following aspects. To begin with, it introduces the development situation of wind power generation and wind power equipment industry. This strategy gives full play to the advantages of strategic alliance with Siemens, develops10MW Marine fan technology together with Siemens, conquers the offshore wind power development commanding heights, using manufacturing centers in Jiangshu and Heilongjiang to develop the local market, using sales network of electric group to develop the wind power overseas market. At the same time, the company shall implement total quality management system, improve self-sufficient rate of the core parts and product reliability. The research in the article has strong reference for the current China’s industry development of wind power equipment and other similar industry or enterprises’development strategy making and strategic management.
