To shorten the product development cycle,and to better the quality of the product and reduce the cost will be the only choice of all the companies to survive in this fierce competition.Moreover, to shorten the development cycle and preemptive to Launch New Product will be more competitive in nowadays’constantly changing needs from both clients and marketing trend.However, as the changing needs and lag behind RD process control, there comes up a lot of problems and challenges during the new products development. In order to avoid this situation from the root, to re-audit the process control during the development will be mostly resaltared. Therefore the ideology and method of the process control will be the key points.This paper elaborated the background and significance and current situation of the development of the project management before discussing the theoretical knowledge of the project schedule and process control,which will take E company’s UPC as sample to introduce the application of the project schedule and process control and also analysis the interference factors during the new product development. E company finalized to launch the UPC product on time through optimizing the process control. The successful of this UPC, will be the calligraphy of the subsequent projects in the future.
