| Since the reform and opening-up policy in China, the development zone has played animportant role as a powerful lever and an important carrier in the development of regionaleconomy.Development zone has the high concentration of production factor and theadvantage of industrial assemble in regional economic unit, and make an adiation and driveaction to the economy growth of the surrounding regions. Its good momentum ofdevelopment gradually changes regional economic development scale and spatial scope ofindustrial organization structure.Recently, with the acceleration of economy globalization and regional integration, theCircum-Bohai Sea Region gradually becomes the third pole of regional economy growth afterYangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta. Industry scale is growing gradually and the spaceindustry tissue has gradually matured in the area. The Circum-Bohai Sea Region has many ofthe first batches of China’s state-level economic and technological development zones andafter being developed hundreds of industry parks in Dalian, Tianjin, Yantai, and Qingdao.The industrial park space layout and industry category has gradually diversified. But due tothe spatial location and administrative system barrier, the industrial selections and layoutsamong the parks of the Circum-Bohai Sea are the same, the leading industry is almost similar,the industrial homogeneity is obvious, the complementary degree is not strong, the industrychain on the lower reaches is loosely linked, and without formation of large-scale professionalcooperation of division of labor, all these limit the industry growth of the development zone,and hinder the regional industry cluster accumulation.Based on this, the paper takes Circum-Bohai’s development zones as the research focus,using the SWOT analysis method to discuss the development zone industrial spaceoptimization in general, making detailed analysis on advantages, disadvantages, and thechances and challenges of external environment, by analyzing and comparing the2006~2010the main indicators of national economy, applicating the cluster analysis to analyze thedifference of regional economy development. |
