With the development of information technology and the tide ofglobalization, New forms of organization of the virtual/networkenterprises are increasing, the dispersed Workers gradually increased. Atpresent, more and more economic activities of enterprises are based on thejob of geographically dispersed worker. The appearing of new forms oforganization and dispersed Worker bring a huge challenge to traditionalmanagement model. The importance of dispersed Workers’ knowledgemanagement is reflected in two aspects: First, the dispersion of staffknowledge and experience are important assets of enterprises and must beof good management and utilization; Secondly, a good knowledgemanagement system could strengthen the growth of the dispersion staff’sknowledge and ability, thus improving business performance. However,geographically dispersion and contract dispersion characteristics of dispersed employees will result in communication difficulties, thus bring ahuge challenge to knowledge management of distributedemployees.Given these realities, This article will lock the object of studyon knowledge management of distributed employees, on the basis of therelevant literature and theory of Dispersed Workers’ knowledgemanagement, This article will analysis the dispersion of employees ineight dimensions, and comprehensively study the impact of the DispersedWorkers to the enterprise organization both in positive and negativeaspects; Finally, this paper make an empirical study of the relationshipbetween knowledge management of dispersed employees and businessperformance.This article believe that the widespread emergence of the neworganizational form, the deepening of economic globalization, thedevelopment of information and communication technology and trafficpressure brought about the rise of dispersed employees. At the same time,Dispersion of dispersed employees is mainly in the sensitivity of the space, time, information and communication technologies, cultural differences,the type of work and complexity of the environment and the response ofthe eight dimensions of agility, related policies and standards. In addition,the rise of dispersed employees could increase their freedom and ease theconflict between work and family, improve employee satisfaction and jobperformance; enables organizations to better utilization of humanresources; conserve resources and reduce costs; improve the speed andsuccess rate of product innovation. On the negative side, hugegeographical distance could make the difficulties of communication andexchange change, hinder the development of trust; cause imbalances andslow down the speed of information sharing and use; lead to differences indispersed employees’ perspective to and attitudes; affect the organizationand employee commitment and loyalty.According to the using of Factor analysis method, this articleempirical study the relationship of dispersed worker s’ knowledgemanagement and enterprise performance.This article found a strong positive correlation between knowledge management of the dispersed staffand business performance, and the greatest contribution come form humanresources factors in dispersed employees of knowledge management, thenare the factors of the process control factors and support areas. Accordingto the different contribution rate, this article believe that companies shouldbe focused on improve good organizational structure, the establishment ofan effective incentive mechanism, control and optimization of knowledgemanagement process, infrastructure, r the building of enterprise cultureand suitable for the dispersed employees’ knowledge management. For thecharacteristics of dispersed employees, Enterprises should take bestpractice strategies, such as: Electronic conferencing, cross-bordercommunities of practice, standardized communication and unifyinglanguage.
