Under The Global Value Chain,a Research Of China Telecom Operators FDI Strategy And Locaiton Selection

With the process of globalization and regional integration,enterprises of China should insert into the Global Value Chain and bring internationalization into force.Chinese Telecom operators are taking the leader role in the telecom value chain. So it is important and essential for the operators to invest to foreign markets. Foreign direct investment is one of the most important methods for the operators to internationalize. So this paper mainly analyzes the strategy to direct invest to the foreign countries on the basis of the theory of Global Value Chain.The first chapter is the instruction of the background, research method and main content of this paper.The second chapter instructs the theory basis of the paper about Global Value Chain and Foreign Direct Investment. The third chapter analyzes that why operators should take measures to internationalize. The forth and fifth chapters mainly analyze the strategy for operators to impede outward direct investment. Particularly, the author uses the Grey Theory to build a quantitative model to analyze the locational choice during FDI. The last chapter makes a conclusion of the paper and gives some proposes to Chinese telecom operators.
