In recent years, the aging problem of China’s population shows a rapid growth trend. Ourcountry carried out the sixth national population census in2010,the results show that, sixtyyears old and above in China has a population of more than170million, accounting for13.26%of the total population in our country.With two factors in declining birth rates andprolonging the induction, China’s aging process gradually accelerate. The elderly as a largegroup has got more and more attention by the tourism merchandise and the literature field.Inorder to enrich the cultural life of the elder people,the elderly tourism has become a hot topicnowadays.However, at present,there is a lack of the old age tourist resources,this market hasnot been developed perfectly,which has not yet formed a system of the market.Therefore,looking for the preference of tourism products in the elderly,and improving thetourism merchandise products which truly meet the needs of the eldly is an important subjectworthy of study for the tourism enterprise while in the process of the development.Based on reading a lot of domestic and foreign documents related to the elderlytourism,this paper from the perspective of tourism preference,constructing the model of theinfluence factors of elderly tourism preference,the empirical analysis shows thecharacterastics of the tourism products which the elderly prefer to and influencingfactors,finaly put forward the marketing mix strategies for perfecting the elderly tourismmarket.This study is divided into three steps:Firstly,put forward the question.In view of therealistic background that the senior potential tourism market has not been stronglydeveloped,this paper explores a perspective on the basis of reading the relevantliterature.Secondly,analysis the question. Starting from the perspective of the tourismpreference,this study builds a research model to conduct a questionnaire survey for the elderlyaged60and above in the city of Shijiazhuang. The survey from internal factors (includingtravel attitude,travel motivation and personal characteratics) and external factors (mainlytourism product factors),the two dimensions to examine the impact on elderly touristpreferences.Thirdly,slove the question.According to the actual situation of the investigationand theoretical foundation,this paper puts forward the4P marketing combination strategy toperfect the senior tourists market.The research results show that,because of the different in the tourist motives, tourismattitudes,individual characteristics and the concerns to the elements of tourism products,the elderly tourists have different travel preferences.According to these factors,tourismenterprises should from various aspects to explore the characteristics of the tourism productswhich the elderly prefer to,and then make the right marketing strategy,to promote elderlytourist market better and faster development.This study enriches the empirical researches ofthe elderly tourism,and aslo provide a scientific basis for the development of tourism policyand marketing strategy for tourism-related departments and tourism enterprises.
