Since America joined TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement) andtried hard to develop it, the negotiation scale of TPP expanded so quicklythat its tendency has attracted more attention throughout the world. Thescholars generally believe that the aim of America’s active participationin TPP is to check and balance China, and suppress China’s influence inthe Asian-Pacific region. In recent years more and more China’s tradingpartners joined or tried to join TPP, the relevant countries began to paymuch more attention to what China will do to deal with it.Therefore, in order to help the Chinese government make properpolicy, it’s very important to make a research on the impact which TPPwill possible make on Chinese international trade. The thesis, at first, employs the theory of regional integration to analyze the contents andfeatures of TPP, and make a calculation that with the expansion of themembers, and the various obstacles on the way of negotiation, thestandard of entering TPP will be more flexible. Then the thesis will makean analysis on the goods and countries in China’s international tradebased on the general situation of China’s international trade, and focuseson the possible impact TPP will make on China’s international trade withKorea, Japan and other countries in ASEAN, pointing out that China willperhaps reduce the international dependence among China, Korea, Japanand the countries in ASEAN, which will make a certain kind of effect oftrade transference. In the end, the thesis will analyze the possibility ofChina’s entering TPP according to the current situation both abroad andat home. It is believed that China should look on the advantages andchallenges brought about by TPP with dialectical outlook and should getride of the dependence of national economy on international trade. The thesis make an original analysis on the impact TPP will make on the relationship between China and its major trading partners. Moreover, the thesis, for the first time, make a plenty of data collections andanalyses in terms of China’s major trading partners in East Asia andSoutheast Asia, laying a good foundation for future research.
