Research On The Strategies In Developing Commercial Banks’ Green Credit Business

The green credit, first of all, adheres to the principles of sustainabledevelopment, paying attention to the environment, ecology and other resources in theeconomy and social development of human beings. In the credit practice ofcommercial banks, it is necessary to comply with the national policies inenvironment and ecology, institutional regulations, for it is an important basis for thecommercial banks’ credit decisions in credit activities striving to maximize controland to minimize impact in environment resources and ecology.Meanwhile, commercial banks also need to pay attention to the increase incredit activities involving effective support to the credit needs of industries and thefield of environmental protection, energy conservation, etc., so as to allocate ofcredit funds efficiently and reasonably, the encourage the promotion of economy andecology, and the environment, sustainable development, and in basis of commercialbanks operating on the healthy and orderly development of effective prevention andcontrol of credit risk. This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is an introduction, stating the main topics of the researchbackground and significance, overview of the research and research contents andmethods.The second chapter is a theoretical overview of the development of greencommercial bank credit business, combing the green credit theory, theoretical basisfor the analysis in the following chapters.Chapter Three talks about the status of green credit business development ofChina’s commercial banks, pointing out green credit business of Chinese commercialbanks in the development process.Chapter Four deals with the development strategies and suggestions, puttingforward healthy green credit operations of the commercial banks in China. This partis on the basis of comparative analysis of the domestic and foreign commercialbanks green credit business development, from four aspects of policies and systemsof green credit business environment, the operating mechanism of the type ofbusiness and mode as well as commercial banks internal environment construction paper proposed the development of China’s commercial banks green credit businesssuggestions.Chapter Five summaries the paper and gives the conclusions.
