Due to the rapid development of modern industry and the improvement ofmodern logistics technology, traditional warehouse management mode cannot meetthe demand for production and logistics. How to improve the efficiency of warehousemanagement and warehouse management of informationization has arousedwidespread concern. The demands of Parts of the automobile manufacturing industryis high and wide varieties, JIT production mode requires the required parts deliver tothe production line on time, which need the storage capacity of the center should belarge enough and high operational efficiency.The car market share of A company in China and other countries in theautomotive industry growing quickly, also will continue to expand the scale ofproduction. Because the products are according to customer orders, there must be putforward higher requirements to downstream raw materials, components supply andfinished product distribution. For A warehouse center, warehouse management levelneed to constantly improve and adapt to changing customer needs, thereby increasingcustomer satisfaction.Based on the above background, study on the company of A’s new warehousecenter, combined with domestic and international warehouse management research,analyze warehouse center inventory status and location assignment goals, developthe programs storage space of the highest minimum reserve to meet the warehousecenter allocation strategies. First, this paper analyzes the structural features of theproducts and suppliers, based on the frequency of parts shipped to ABC classification,combined with the demand characteristics of the different types of products calculatedthe highest minimum reserves of the three types of parts, comparative analysis on oneof the parts inventory calculation program, and verify the highest minimum reservestockpiles scheme’s feasibility and effectiveness; Secondly, according to the storagespace of the warehouse center distributional objectives established the optimizationmodel of storage space allocation in order to improve the efficiency of warehouseoperations and ensure the shelf stability, and apply the weight coefficient method of multi-objective genetic algorithm to solve the model; using MATLAB geneticalgorithm toolbox model simulation, verification feasibility of the algorithm, andanalyzes the different weight coefficient of the distributional effects of the storagespace.
