With the rapid development of computer information technology andmechanized technology, warehouse management practices are changing from thetraditional way of manual labor to mechanization practices. Warehouse is collectingmodern logistics technology and storage technology. It has a lot advantages of smallfootprint, low management costs, storage space, fast response operations, etc. It havebecome an important part of modern logistics management system.Slotting optimization and picking path optimization is the manner of improvingthe efficiency of warehouse operations and saving the warehousing costs, It isconsidering the issues and factors warehousing equipment, goods, customer demandand other aspects. Through planning the storage path and picking of goods in order toimproving the use of space rate, improving the efficiency of goods out of storageoperating, reducing the unnecessary lost of cargo handling process, loweringinventory costs, and achieve maximum utilization of storage space for the purpose.Construction of cargo space optimization system can not only provide for theproduction and transport of preparation, can increase the efficiency of the logisticscenter warehouse operations, logistics companies to achieve better cost control.With the continuous expansion of production scale OEMs, the warehouse centerof A company needs to adjust storage management model to adapt to this change. Thekeys issues of the storage center of A company are the lower of inventory use, lowoperating efficiency and inventory layout problems. Storage Center is urgently need acargo management strategy to solve the currently problems now.In this paper, we analyzed the situation of the new warehouse is built by storagecenter of A company. First of all, we made a brief description of slotting optimizationtheory. Then we analyzed the slotting management situation of storage center and thecharacteristics of parts. According the goal of slotting optimization, we made aslotting optimization model. The goal of model is improving the efficiency ofwarehouse management. By modeling method we switch the optimization problem tomathematical model, and using MATLAB software design algorithm for optimalsolution. And optimizing the front and rear parts out of storage time job comparative analysis, this paper slotting optimization model is verify the validity.In this paper, we analyzed the situation of stock-out operation of the newwarehouse is built by storage center of A company. According storage center pickingtargets, we made the goal of the shortest distance of picking and identified pickingpath optimization model. And we used genetic algorithms to solve optimizationproblems. Finally, using MATLAB software to design algorithm for optimal solutions,and we analyzed the results of picking path optimization, the result is verify thevalidity.
