The Relation Research On Shanxi Foreign Trade And Industrial Optimization

Shanxi as China’s resource province,it’s foreign trade has made great progress since1978. In2012the amount of foreign trade is15.05billion dollars,which is43times the amount of the one in1990.At the same time, Chinese foreign trade volume is3866.76billion dollaos. Shanxi foreigntrade account for only0.39percent of the proportion of China. That do not conform to the status ofShanxi which is a large resource province in China. And the industrial structure has beenoptimized.In1978the structure of the three industries is20.7:58.5:20.8.And in2012it becomes5.8:57.9:36.4.At the same time, the industrial structure in our country is10.1:45.3:44.6. It reflectsthat the development of Shanxi industrial structure is backward to the development of China.If welook inside the industry,we could find that the first industry is an agriculture structure. In the secondindustry, traditional industries,such as coal industry,coke industry,smelting industry about stainlesssteel and metal magnesium,are leading industries for a long period.The development of high-endequipment manufacturing and high-tech industry lag these traditional industry relatively.In thetertiary industry,It is mainly a labor-intensive traditional industries,which refer to wholesaleindustry, retail industry,catering industry, transportation industry and so on. The industry remainneeds to be further optimized. With opening to the outside world Increasingly, the effect of foreigntrade on the development of Shanxi economy and industry will be more and more important. So inthis paper, it gives a study about Shanxi industrial optimization problems from the foreign tradeperspective.There are many researches about the relationship between foreign trade and industrialdevelopment at home and abroad. If we observe these researches from provincial perspective,wecould find that discussions mainly refer to coastal provinces and areas. But such research aboutShanxi province are less than these regions. So this paper takes Shanxi Province as researchobject.And it will give a study about Shanxi foreign trade influences on industrialoptimization,which is based on import and export trade and the three industry development ofShanxi province.And I hope this research could have benefits to the industrial transformation inShanxi.In this paper, it shows empirical study on correlation between Shanxi foreign tradedevelopment and industrial development according to the relevant data of economic operation aboutShanxi.And the research method mainly includes Unit root test, Cointegration test and Grangercausality test. Conclusion comed from empirical study is that: there is a long-term equilibriumrelationship between Shanxi foreign trade and three industries.Then the paper gives somesuggestions from the trade and industry aspects,relying on the conclusion above. Because of the long-term subject,which is about relations between Shanxi foreign tradedevelopment and industrial optimization, and My knowledge reserve constraint, there may be somedeficiencies from the paper.So I should continue to strengthen the learning In the future in order tohave a better understanding on the subject.
