Development Planning Of Manufacture Department

Development plan of business departments needs to be accordance with the strategy of enterprise. The Manufacture&Engineering Department of GM is responsible for on-site installing,debugging, operation and project implementation. With the rapid development of company business, higher demand for production engineering department, such as stuff number, ability level and coordinate ability are proposed. Recently, as the national railway investment grows, company products are widely applied in railway projects, and staff shortage of PD becomes a threat for service quality and business development. To adapt to the development, enterprise task and requirement are expounded in this paper based on the firstly introduced company background, development planning and future business development. Then, external and internal conditions the company faced are exampled and analyzed, environmental analysis is applied, setting the goals to setting up Product Division through three stages. According to the development goals, development planning and annual sales target, basic tasks for department and key elements to the tasks are resolved. Department development planning is formulated according to the tasks and improvements for key elements are gained systematically, which are aimed to realize the development goals, satisfying the company demand for department at the same time.In the end, this paper elaborates the implementation plan of department development plan. Accordingly, the department developing includes three stages--process implementation&position evaluation, project performance appraisal and setting up Product Division. The paper analyzes the target and condition of each stage and the factors which impact the implementation of development plan, as well as the adjustment methods which are accordance with the environment change or company development adjustment.
