L company is a corporate enterprise specializing in photovoltaic manufacturing industry and is established only a few years ago. Since its establishment, the company has built relatively complete strategies for production and operation management. As the company is established only a few years ago, many systems still need exploration and improvement. There are also many unreasonable places in some production management systems.In this paper, L company is chosen as research object. The photovoltaic industry that L company involves in is chosen as research background. The concepts of "informatization promotes industrialization","enterprise informatization motivates management innovation" and "enterprise informatization promotes competitiveness" are taken as ideas and starting points. Relevant fundamental theories such as MRP2and others like BRP, production and operation management, enterprise strategic management and theory of organizational development, etc. are mainly referred to. In combination with modern production control method, through qualitative analysis methods such as observational method, interview method, correlation method, organization structure contingency analysis, and through quantitative analyses such as multi-variant linear stepwise regression, sensitivity analysis, the author has conducted investigation and analysis on institutional framework, work flow, and current situation of informatization, etc. and strives to find an appropriate way for effective implementation of L company’s management innovation, improvement of management ability, and informatization, finally reaching the objective of strengthening L company’s core competitiveness in the industry.The main research contents of the paper are conducted in the following aspects:1) Conduct the network and flat researches on L company’s institutional framework. The enterprise’s organizational structure is updated to optimization scheme of "simulation decentralization".2) Through establishing material balance model, improve production balance rate and conduct reconstruction on L company’s production flow.3) Utilize SPSS Chinese Ver13.0statistical software to conduct quantitative regression analysis on polycrystalline silicon price and find that "electricity price" is the most important factor which affects polycrystalline silicon price. It provides guidance for optimizing scheduling policy and making production plan.4) Provide MRP2implementation scheme and emphasize that the NPV, IRR, etc. should be used to evaluate index of economic investment.
