Research On The Financial Support To The Economic Development In Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone

China’s economy is in a golden age, and the development for marine economy isbecoming an irresistible tendency. The Blue Economic Zone of Shandong peninsula willhave a great many benefits both for the country and the Shandong province if it is suitablydeveloped. For the country, it can expand new space for the development of nationaleconomy on the whole and consolidate national security strategy. It can perfect the generallayout of the country’s coastal economy, thus accelerating to form a new economic growthpole. It can promote the construction for ecological civilization of the ocean. It can makethe marine economy sustainable. It can deepen our coastal open strategy by cooperatingwith other countries in the construction of marine economy. At the same time, forShandong province, it is a breakthrough to foster new advantages of the economicdevelopment. Most importantly, it is an indispensable part in building a strong provinceboth in economy and culture.In modern society, finance has become an important power to push forward theeconomic development. As the core element of modern economy, finance is also theprimary motive force to the economy. Therefore, only by giving full space to thedevelopment of finance can the regional economy be speeded up in its development. Inorder to further explore the internal regularities between the regional economy and thefinancial interaction development, and thus giving full play to the financial support, thisauthor of this thesis has investigated the financial support to the development of the blueeconomic zone of Shandong peninsula, analyzing the main existing problems and causes,and finally, has come up with several suggestions on the development of this Blue Zone.The dissertation is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is a brief introduction.In the second chapter, after defining the concept of regional finance and financial support,the thesis will summarize the action mechanism and effect mechanism of financesupported by the countries home and abroad from several angles, such as financialgeography, industrial economics and financial resources. The third chapter presents thecurrent condition of the Blue Economic Zone of Shandong province. The fourth chapterexposes some cases of financial support in developed regions, such as the Pearl River delta and the Yangtze River delta. The last chapter focuses on the suggestions on strengtheningthe development of the Blue Economic Zone of Shandong peninsula and further on thetheory support of the whole Shandong economy.
