Resource products are the important strategic resource of the economic development. They have been widely used in home appliances, chemical industry, automobile industry, machinery manufacturing, energy and transportation, aviation industry, etc. For the more, the resource products are also the important material of military industry. Various countries are race to reserve and made use of them. In the context of changes in the international division of labor, insutrial structure and the economic globalization, the trend of demand transfer of resource products is more and more obvious. This thesis focuses on the international demand transfer of resource products from the way of qualitative and quantitative analysis. This thesis starts with the current situation and traits of the resource products and explains the reason of the international demand of the resource products. Then it cites the case of China as an example to demonstrate the way of this kind of transfer and proposes the influential effects of the resource products demand transfer. Finally, based on the above analysis, this thesis makes an effect analysis on the international demand transfer of the resource products and concludes that this kind of transfer will bring certain impacts on the economic development and the optimization of the industrial structure. The thesis is divided into seven chapters in total. The introduction chapter mainly introduced the research background and the layout and significance of this thesis, and finally simply illustrates the research contents and research route, and put forward the possible innovation points. Chapter2mainly elaborates the related theoretical basis concerned with this thesis, including the international trade correlation theory, industrial structure related theory and economic cycle correlation theory. Chapter3starts with the characteristics of the resource products and makes a research on reservoir structure, demand status and demand characteristics of the international resource products, especially makes an analysis on the present situation of China’s resource products. Chapter4cites the example of China to discuss the international demand transfer mode of resource products. It divides the international demand transfer into vertical transfer, horizontal transfer and complex transfer. Combined with the phenomenon of trade and investment, the thesis explains the three ways of international demand transfer. Chapter5makes an empirical analysis on the effect factors of country’s demand transfer of international resource products, which is mainly from the perspective of supply, demand, policy and economic cycle factors. Chapter6discusses the economic effects of resource products international demand transfer from aspects of the country which transfers it in and which transfers it out. Chapter7summarizes the research and discusses the future prospects. This thesis thinks that the labor cost, technology progress and environmental factors will influence the resource products international demand transfer from the aspect of supply; Consumption demand and investment demand will affect the transfer from the demand aspect; Monetary policy and fiscal policy, trade policy and investment policy will cross each other and will eventually play roles in supply and influence the resource products international demand transfer from the aspect of policy; Business cycle will also influence the resource products international demand transfer. The degree that the factors play on various resource products is different. This thesis uses qualitative and quantitative analysis to research the factors respectively, and through the empirical proof to prove that the technological progress, consumption and GDP growth rate exert positive effects on the international demand transfer of the resource products.
