Electronic Information Manufacturing Industry In Jiangsu Province To Upgrade

Electronic information industry has fetures of high-tech and high growth.It is China’s pillar industries。It has an important role on economic development.After nearly20years of rapid growth, under the driven of technology, innovation and market,electronic information industry continues to maintain a high growth. At the same time, there have been many problems that restrict industrial development. Such as:the output value of large-scale, but low level of profits; with the highlight manufacturing sector, but low research and development, branding, marketing sector;Trade "in great quantities",but the core technology and key components depends on imports,and so on. Electronic information industry of Jiangsu Provincehas a Rapid development by Industrial Park Construction and investment and has formed a relatively complete industrial chain. Electronic information industry in Jiangsu is now in the crucial period of transformation and upgrading, On the one hand the development of electronic information industry has accumulated capital, talent, technology and knowledge; on the other hand the fierce international competition, constant technological innovation, propose urgent requirements of industrial transformation and upgrading. Study how to enhance industrial competitiveness and achieve changes in growth pattern,have a practical significance on a sustained, healthy development.From the perspective of the global value chain discussing the restructuring and upgrading of the electronic information industry, combined with the specific situation of Jiangsu Province has made the right upgrade path and helps to improve the value chain of our system.In this paper, we decompose the industrial value chain to analyse the distribution of the profits and the core part of the industry,clear differences between the different aspects of barriers to entry,and specify the the goals and direction of industrial transformation and upgrading by Value Chain Analysis. Through Porter’s diamond model to analyse the electronic information industry’s competitivenessand clarify the advantages and disadvantages of industrial development.Through the empirical analysis, using multiple linear regression to analyse the contribution of labor, capital, technology, investment to industry growth and reveal the key elements of industrial development.Through the above analysis,we can determine the the position of electronic information manufacturing industry in Jiangsu, and direction and path of the industrial transformation and upgrading.The upper reaches of the electronic information industry of Jiangsu, R&D sector,is weak;the development of software industry and integrated circuit level is not high.We have inadequate attention to the downstream as marketing and service aspects and serious deficiencies in the brand. To the status of Jiangsu, there are three paths to upgrade as following:First, climbed to the upper reaches of the industrial chain,increase the business-oriented R&D investment intensity, promote the combining of industry, academia and research, and master the core competitiveness of the industry.Second, pay attention to the downstream industry chain, marketing and service sectors;change management concept;focus on promoting the development of intangible assets; use the advantages of localized;focus on the construction industry channels.Third,stronger manufacturing sector and improve the manufacturing process, enhance the industry in the manufacturing sector’s international competitiveness, change industries from low to high value-added manufacturing sector. Based on the above path of industrial transformation and upgrading,we propose the development of appropriate strategies and proposed measures for development of electronic information manufacturing industry and targeted policies and proposals forJiangsu better and faster development.
