Based On The Alliance In The Industry Of High Technology Enterprise, The Competitive Advantage

High-tech enterprises which stand in the forefront of modern science and technology have important strategic significance on developing the productive forces, promoting social civilization and increasing the competitiveness of the country. In the current era of knowledge economy, the external environment becomes increasingly complex, uncertain. The characteristics of technology promote the dynamic development of the external environment of high-tech enterprises. High-tech enterprises can’t maintain the sustainable competitive advantages rely on their own resources. Our government, academics and entrepreneurs with strategic vision had paid attention on this issue, thought that high-tech companies can gain competitive advantages by integrating industry chain, strategic alliances are the best form of integrating industrial chain.Through literature review, defines the concept of industrial chain alliance as vertical inter-firm alliances established among firms who have industrial correlation; the we found that previous studies analysed the role of industrial chain alliance on produce competitive advantage of a firm mainly from six aspects, namely, effective use of resources, reduce costs, lower risk and manage uncertainty, rapid response capability, learning and innovation manage industry structure. In this paper, based on the characteristics of high-tech enterprise, we analysed the necessity to establish the industrial chain alliance of high-tech enterprise. Based on the existing research literature, we analysed the mechanism of industrial chain alliance impact on competitive advantage of high-tech enterprise from strategic level of strategic flexibility, innovation and industrial structure management, and operational levels of resource leverage efficiency and timing, we found that tech-high enterprises can gain Diversified competitive advantage and cost competitive advantage by industrial chain alliance. Finally, though the analysis and research on the above, we discuss the case of Suntech who is committed to building photovoltaic industry chain get its competitive advantage by photovoltaic industry chain alliance, we give some recommendations on how to get competitive advantage of high-tech enterprises by industrial chain alliance.
