Study On Economic Development Of The Linli Country

This thesis analyses the country economy development theory based on regional economics theory and development economics theory at first, then analyses the current situation of the Linli country economy by the horizontal and vertical comparative analysis of the major economic indicators, such as regional gross domestic product, per capita GDP, fiscal revenue, fixed assets investment amount, social total retail sales of consumer goods, industrial structure, urban per capita disposable income, per capita net income of farmers, urbanization rate. The results showed that Linli country is in the primary stage of industrialization. In recent years, the Linli county economy maintains steady growth, but there still has a large gap by compared with other rich countries. In general, Linli country is still in the backward position. The thesis uses the method of SWOT. Strengths are including the natural resources advantage, the location advantage, the decision advantages. Weaknesses are including the weak strength of the whole county economy, irrational industrial structure, low level of industrialization, low level of agricultural modernization, low level of urbanization, insufficient driving force of pillar industry, technology and talent restriction. Opportunities are including the support of national policy and opportunity for the convenience of industrial transfer. Threats are including the pressure of the elements supply, the pressure of the financial operation, the pressure of the change of the development mode and the pressure of the regional competition. Finally, the paper proposed the paths that Linli county economy will realize scientific development and great-leap-forward development. The first path is the development of characteristic industry cluster. The second path is to promote the new type industrialization process. The third path is to realize the agricultural industrialization. The fourth path is accelerating the urbanization process. The fifth path is developing the private economy. Additionally, the purpose of writing the thesis is to provide reference for the Linli country economic development.
